About the webGuide
Welcome to the San Francisco Bay Shoreline Access webGuide. Designed to showcase recreational access opportunities along the edge of the bay, this webGuide allows you to navigate the shoreline using an interactive map to find trails for bicycling, hiking, jogging, skating, bird watching and other activities and how and where you can access them.

Explore points of interest such as parks, wildlife refuges and interpretive centers adjacent to the Bay Trail and shoreline public access. Along your journey you can view photos of numerous sites along the trail, download and print customized maps as well as view aerial imagery along the Bay shoreline.

Map Disclaimer
This map reflects conditions known to its makers at the time of its creation and reasonable steps have been taken to ensure its accuracy. Changes to the built and natural portions of the trail will occur over time. BCDC, ABAG and the San Francisco Bay Trail Project do not make any guarantees about trail conditions or assume any liability for any injury or damage arising out of, or in connection with, any use of the trail or this map.

Exercise caution on the trail by staying to one side and be considerate of those who wish to pass. Bicyclists should yield to pedestrians. Always wear a helmet and ride with caution when exiting the trail onto local streets. Some areas along the bay are isolated; always use appropriate caution.

Be responsible and preserve sensitive habitats along the bay by staying on designated trails and respecting signs. Some trails may be closed during the nesting season. Contact the local jurisdiction to get the most up-to-date information or to see if dogs are allowed before bringing your pet.
