Hazard Planning
Earthquakes - Shaking

Shaking Scenarios - maps for individual earthquake scenarios

Shaking Potential - composite shaking hazard based on all earthquake scenarios and probability information

Compare ShakeMap with ABAG Shaking Scenario - compare the USGS ShakeMap for the North + South Hayward earthquake scenario with that produced by ABAG

Earthquakes - Liquefaction
Liquefaction Susceptibility - areas subject to liquefaction during an earthquake

Liquefaction Scenarios- liquefaction maps for individual earthquake scenarios

Liquefaction Hazard Areas - liquefaction hazard areas mapped by the California Geological Survey

Earthquakes - Faults
Alquist-Priolo Earthquake Fault Zones - California Geological Survey data of Alquist-Priolo Earthquake Fault Zones

Flooding
Flood Hazard Areas - areas identified on FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps

Wildfires
Wildland-Urban Interface - threat areas for the wildland-urban interface

Wildfire Threat - wildland fire threat to human development

Fire Perimeters - extents of previous wildfires in the San Francisco Bay Area

Housing Unit Density- housing densities in wildland-urban interface wildfire hazard areas

Soil Erosion Potential - post-wildfire soil erosion potential

Ecosystem Health - fire-related risks to ecosystem health as measured by condition class

Landslides
Existing Landslides - distribution of existing landslides induced by rainfall/storms

Debris Flow Source Areas - debris flow source areas for rainfall/storm induced landslides

Landslide Hazard Areas - earthquake induced landslide hazard areas mapped by the California Geological Survey

Tsunamis
Tsunami Planning Areas - areas at risk of inundation during a tsunami event. Actual location and extent of inundation would depend on strenght and direction of tsunami.

Dam Failure
Dam Failure Inundation Zones - areas that could be inundated following the failure of a dam (number of dams that could affect area are noted)

Sea Level Rise
Sea Level Rise Scenarios - areas that could be subject to inundation as a result of sea level rise. Map service provides potential inundation areas for sea level rises of approximately 16 inches and 55 inches.
